What you'll do

• Manage complex and high-impact supplier relationships
• prioritize purchasing and resolve supply, inventory, supplier performance, and production support issues
• lead supplier performance reviews and corrective action or recovery plans
• develop inventory and purchasing strategies
• coordinate cross-functional responses to shortages and supplier disruptions
• mentor purchasing team members
• lead operational RFQs within delegated authority
• translate sourcing strategies into operational execution
• improve purchasing processes and ERP/MRP reporting
• provide analysis and recommendations on supplier risk, inventory, cost, delivery, and purchasing performance
• maintain compliant supplier records and ERP data.
