Activities Assistant — North Carolina CNA License Required

The Activities Assistant works onsite in Greensboro, NC. Compensation is $17.50–$19.25 per hour. The role supports the recreation department at Blumenthal Health & Rehabilitation Center by helping provide meaningful activities for residents. The assistant helps plan, conduct, and evaluate activities that address residents’ physical, mental, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and psychosocial interests. The role also supports safe participation, accurate activity records, and communication with the recreation director and care team.

What you'll do

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe activity areas
• assist with scheduled activities and special events
• communicate activity schedules
• assist with assessments, progress notes, care plans, and oral histories as directed
• record attendance and resident responses
• support Resident Council meetings
• transport residents safely to activities
• set up and store equipment
• report concerns and changes in resident condition to management or nursing staff.
