Hospice Medical Director

What you'll do

• Provide medical direction and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
• participate in interdisciplinary group and QAPI activities
• review and certify hospice eligibility
• establish and update plans of care with attending physicians and the group
• consult on pain and symptom management
• oversee medications and treatments
• document clinical care
• support physician education and community liaison work
• ensure continuous physician coverage and participate in on-call duties as defined by policy.
