What you'll do

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic specialty-related concerns
• obtain histories and perform physical examinations
• order or evaluate diagnostic studies
• administer medications under applicable protocols
• order and collect specimens
• perform designated procedures after demonstrating competency
• coordinate admissions, discharges, and care
• provide patient teaching and counseling
• support urgent outpatient evaluations, infusion-area acute care, and building-wide emergency response efforts.
