What you'll do

• The Special Procedure Technologist is required to perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Special Procedure Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, operate complex angiographic equipment, and assist physicians by scrubbing and circulating during procedures, as necessary, throughout the Mission Health system.
• Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized.
• This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality of radiographic images.
• The technologist must respond appropriately for emergent procedures, such as Code Strokes, as determined by the on-call physician.
• The technologist must demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.

Experience

One year previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department required. Approved experience gained through a clinical education program in Radiography is acceptable.
