The Early Childhood Teacher, 2-Year-Old Classroom role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation is $17–$21 per hour, based on experience and credentials. The teacher supports The Learning Experience’s Cascade center and its L.E.A.P. Curriculum. The role provides a safe, nurturing classroom where toddlers can develop language, independence, social skills, and confidence. Through structured routines, hands-on learning, family communication, and collaboration with support teachers, the teacher contributes to children’s early development.

What you'll do

• Lead a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom for 2-year-olds
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• create hands-on art, music, movement, sensory play, and exploration activities
• support language, independence, social, self-help, and toileting skills
• maintain routines and positive guidance
• observe development and document as required
• communicate with families
• collaborate with classroom support teachers
• follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
