What you'll do
- Complete patient intake and discharge under physician, nurse practitioner, and/or Registered Nurse supervision
- document in paper and electronic medical records
- perform authorized technical tasks including vital signs, routine specimen collection, ECG, and phlebotomy
- assist providers with procedures
- respond promptly to emergencies and assist other healthcare providers
- report patient symptoms, reactions, and progress to the physician, nurse practitioner, or Registered Nurse
- maintain confidentiality.

Why this role
High school diploma or equivalent required. AAMA or AMT Medical Assistant certification is preferred at hire and required within six months. BCLS certification must be maintained. The role includes care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under licensed-provider supervision.
