What you'll do

• Provide appropriate, efficient and timely pre-hospital basic life support care and transportation of the sick and injured.
• Conducts patient examinations, administers basic life support care, handles patients carefully, and ensures safe transport.
• Documents patient condition and treatment, maintains unit inventory, and operates the ambulance safely.
• Follows FCC regulations and attends mandatory meetings.
• Completes station duties, orders supplies, and performs assigned ambulance duties.
• May be responsible for basic extrication and controlling the patient's surroundings.
• Must meet EMT-Basic qualifications and perform other assigned duties.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

High School Diploma or GED. National and/or State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. Current CPR certification. Current and valid state-issued driver's license. Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally. Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies. Ability to drive large vehicles.
