What you'll do

• Plan and implement instruction aligned with adopted courses of study
• prepare lesson plans and learning activities
• teach subject matter using application-based examples
• review student records and maintain accurate records
• assess student strengths and needs and provide progress reports
• refer suspected learning problems to support personnel
• prepare students for state assessments
• contribute to curriculum revision and instructional material selection
• maintain a safe, orderly classroom
• communicate with parents and guardians
• participate in curriculum planning and extracurricular activities as required.
