What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns
• troubleshoot engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and electronic systems
• use diagnostic equipment and OEM service information
• verify repairs through testing and inspections
• service vehicle computer systems and perform software updates or calibrations when required
• communicate findings to customers
• assist service advisors with recommendations and estimates
• mentor developing technicians
• document inspections, repairs, and recommendations
• follow safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
