Tile Installer Apprentice

The Tile Installer Apprentice role is onsite, based in the Greater Indianapolis area, with regular travel throughout Indiana and pay of $18 per hour. Jack Laurie Group provides commercial flooring, tile, specialty surfaces, and facility solutions across Indiana and the Midwest. The apprentice assists experienced installers on commercial projects while learning tile installation, surface preparation, layout, grouting, and safe tool use. The role contributes to project completion and develops skills for potential advancement to Installer or Lead Installer roles.

What you'll do

• Assist experienced tile installers on commercial projects
• prepare floors and walls
• mix mortar and grout
• measure, cut, and stage tile
• maintain tools and job-site cleanliness
• learn installation techniques
• follow safety requirements
• work with the team to complete projects
• travel to project locations throughout Indiana as needed.
