The Class A CDL Driver Trainee – Western Regional Dry Van role is based in Carson City, NV, with over-the-road driving across states west of the Mississippi. Training pay is $800 per week for 4 to 6 weeks; solo pay is guaranteed at $1,000 per week for the first 3 months, with average weekly gross of $1,300 to $1,400 thereafter. NIS EXPRESS provides paid driver training and regional freight service. The role prepares new drivers to operate independently by pairing them with an experienced driver trainer before assignment to their own truck. Drivers transport freight, complete mostly drop-and-hook work, and return home every two weeks.

What you'll do

• Complete 4 to 6 weeks of over-the-road training with an experienced driver
• operate a truck after sign-off
• drive approximately 2,300 miles weekly across states west of the Mississippi
• perform mostly drop-and-hook freight work.
