What you'll do

• Design structural components and assemblies for a UAV platform
• carry out concept development, CAD modeling, detailed design, and drawing release
• perform hand stress or strain calculations and limited basic FEA with guidance as needed
• collaborate with aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, payload, and manufacturing teams
• support structural testing and verification
• prepare design documentation and reports
• resolve build issues with manufacturing and flight test teams
• participate in design reviews and improve technical depth in structural design.
