Roving Facilities Technician

Job overview

The Roving Facilities Technician role is onsite across multiple properties in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area and nearby states. Compensation is $25–$33 per hour, varying by assigned property location, experience, and education. The technician supports property maintenance assignments directed by the Director of Facilities.

What you'll do

• Complete general and preventive maintenance, resident repair requests, building and grounds inspections, and vacant-unit repairs
• operate and service equipment
• assist with preventive maintenance
• monitor boiler water levels
• cut resident keys
• light gas-stove pilot lights
• perform light painting and wall repairs
• repair window screens
• remove snow and ice and perform seasonal grounds work
• maintain repair logs and an organized maintenance shop.
