The Assistant Operator helps maintain safe, continuous production by supporting line operation and changeovers, inspecting and packaging finished decking, documenting quality and production information, and communicating process or equipment concerns to the Operator or Decking Lead.

What you'll do

• Support safe start-up, operation, shutdown, and changeover of decking extrusion and downstream equipment
• monitor product flow and report operating concerns
• inspect finished decking and complete quality checks
• segregate and report suspect material
• bundle, label, band, and package finished goods
• complete production and quality records
• stage materials
• perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
• maintain workstation housekeeping and communicate shift handoffs.
