On-Call Custodian

What you'll do

• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and carpets
• strip, wash, and buff floors
• replace light bulbs
• clean walls, glass, bathrooms, and common areas
• report mechanical equipment issues and use the work order system
• make minor fixture and furnishing repairs
• move furniture
• lock and unlock buildings as required
• remove rubbish
• operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• shovel snow and perform general yard care
• requisition and receive supplies
• assist with loading and unloading trucks
• communicate with department heads and leads.
