Food Service Worker

Job overview

The Food Service Worker role is onsite at Brooke Grove Retirement Village in Sandy Spring, MD. Pay is $18–$19 per hour. Unidine’s culinary team serves residents and works to enhance their experiences. The worker prepares, presents, and serves food while following recipes, portion standards, food safety, sanitation, and service procedures. The role supports daily meal service and a clean, safe dining operation.

What you'll do

• Prepare ingredients
• weigh and measure ingredients
• transport food safely
• store food using wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures
• clean work areas and equipment
• distribute supplies and utensils
• follow recipes and production standards
• serve customers
• respond to customer concerns and relay information to a supervisor
• follow service, inventory, cash-control, sanitation, and safety requirements.
