Senior Systems Administrator

Job overview

The Senior Systems Administrator role is an onsite position based in Chantilly, VA. Compensation is not specified for this role, which supports the management, optimization, and troubleshooting of VMware virtualized environments and Active Directory infrastructure for mission-critical customer activities. This role exists to provide Tier 2/3 IT support services and technical leadership. The incumbent will coordinate a team of system administrators, design and maintain virtualized environments, and ensure the reliability of enterprise IT systems through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere environments.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and resource allocation issues.
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT teams on system integration and upgrades.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems architecture.
