What you'll do

• Apply and remove casts, splints, and durable medical equipment
• remove sutures and provide applicable wound care
• prepare patients for pin extraction and assist physicians
• educate patients on equipment use and care
• document care and charges in electronic medical records
• prepare for sterile procedures and closed reductions
• maintain casting and supply rooms
• room patients when needed.
