The Human Resources and Safety Co-op is an onsite role in Hammond, IN, with availability of approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week in summer. The work helps maintain employee programs and safety processes while giving the co-op practical exposure to manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Assist with recruiting, screening, interview scheduling, career fairs, onboarding, and employee records
• prepare workforce reports and analyze attendance, turnover, overtime, and staffing trends
• support benefits enrollment, communications, performance reviews, and employee development
• maintain the Learning Management System and training materials
• track training completion
• assist with safety audits, inspections, OSHA records, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
