The Gameday Statistician role is onsite in Sault Sainte Marie, MI, supporting Lake Superior State University Athletics events. Compensation is stated as up to $20 per hour. The position is part of the official scorers’ team for Laker Athletics events. The statistician records and manages live game data so that accurate statistics and timely reports are available during athletic events. Depending on the event, duties may include spotting, official scorekeeping, NCAA Live Stats input, or shot-clock operation.

What you'll do

• Attend scheduled games and record real-time player and team statistics
• enter statistics into designated software or databases
• communicate statistical information
• use sports statistics software for data entry, analysis, and reporting
• maintain familiarity with gameplay rules and scoring regulations
• ensure data accuracy and integrity
• provide timely reports and analysis.
