The First Cook role is onsite in Framingham, MA, with stated pay of $23–$25 per hour. 2Life Communities’ dining program prepares meals for residents and supports resident needs and community care. The cook prepares or supervises meals and special diets, supports menu planning, and helps ensure timely meal service and compliant kitchen operations. The role contributes to residents’ dining needs through food preparation, teamwork, and attention to nutritional requirements.

What you'll do

• Assist with menu and special-diet planning
• prepare or supervise meal preparation
• assist the Executive Chef with ordering food and equipment
• ensure timely meal service and proper nutritional diets
• maintain kitchen, storage, and dining areas in compliance with health codes and policies
• account for kitchen stores, equipment, and utensils
• participate in mandatory training and help train the team.
