What you'll do

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Activity Department
• make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• follow regulations governing activity services in nursing care facilities
• work with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies
• supervise and work harmoniously with staff
• communicate information about residents’ conditions
• incorporate new methods and principles into activity services.

Why this role

Qualifications may be met through relevant therapeutic recreation or activities credentials, two years of social or recreation program experience within the last five years including one full-time year in a patient activities program in a healthcare setting, or a state-approved training course.
