Job overview

The Behavioral Health Respite Provider role is onsite in Cleveland, OH, with part-time hours of up to 20 per week and typical shifts from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The provider gives youth enrolled in OhioRise short-term respite care in a structured setting at home, in the community, or both. Through supervision, companionship, and planned activities, the role supports young people’s social, emotional, and behavioral development while giving caregivers a temporary break.

What you'll do

  • Provide short-term direct care to youth
  • communicate with youth, families, and treatment team members
  • update families on activities, progress, and concerns
  • transport youth to selected community activities
  • plan and participate in recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities
  • maintain a safe, structured environment aligned with care plans
  • support socialization
  • complete assigned documentation
  • protect client privacy and follow agency safety protocols.
