What you'll do

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures under radiologist supervision
• verify patient and exam orders
• educate and position patients
• modify procedures as appropriate
• process imaging and maintain equipment
• transport patients when possible
• follow radiation safety practices
• assist providers and departments
• and support scheduling, exam logs, and imaging transfers. Additional CT, ultrasound, MRI, or mammography duties apply only if the technologist also works in those modalities.
