Strength and Conditioning Coach

The Strength and Conditioning Coach role is onsite in Cary, NC. Compensation is $18–$28 per hour. D1 Training is an athletic-based group training facility serving adults and youth athletes ages seven and up, with a mission to provide fitness programming and coaching. The coach delivers group and individual training, adapts exercises to athletes’ needs, and supports progress toward personal goals. The role contributes to member experience and retention by teaching safe technique, providing training and nutrition guidance, and maintaining accountability.

What you'll do

• Coach core classes, personal training, camps, team training, and other offerings
• assess members and align them with appropriate programs
• adapt movements to individual needs
• build relationships and monitor progress
• provide guidance on strength, speed, and nutrition
• teach proper form and technique
• promote a motivating environment and reduce injury risk through sound movement patterns.

Why this role

Requires valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification, an NCCA-accredited certification, and at least one year of related training experience. A bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field is preferred.
