General Service Technician / Lube Technician

Job overview

The General Service Technician / Lube Technician role is onsite in Sterling, VA. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; the shop is open 6 a.m.–6 p.m. for additional earning potential. Easterns Automotive Group’s reconditioning team prepares vehicles for its 11 retail locations. The technician performs routine maintenance and basic inspections and repairs on inventory vehicles, documenting work and supporting senior technicians as needed. The role helps prepare vehicles for retail while maintaining an organized, safe service bay.

What you'll do

• Change oil and filters, rotate tires, and top off fluids
• conduct and document brake, tire, and safety inspections
• road-test vehicles
• replace minor components
• maintain a clean, organized bay
• complete checklists and repair orders
• assist senior technicians with complex repairs as needed.
