What you'll do

• Prepare patients for visits by reviewing information, taking vital signs, and documenting care
• assist providers during examinations
• prepare specimens and perform basic onsite laboratory tests as ordered
• perform ultrasounds and document findings
• provide nursing care during assessment, surgery, and recovery
• educate patients on postoperative instructions, contraception, and follow-up
• maintain supplies and equipment
• document in EMR/EHR
• follow up on laboratory results and procedures
• participate in the rotating on-call program
• may work at other Kansas City Metro health centers
• travel throughout the affiliate as needed.
