Veterinary Technician — Internal Medicine

The Veterinary Technician — Internal Medicine role is onsite in San Rafael, CA. Compensation is $34–$38 per hour; credentialed veterinary technicians are eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus. The role supports PESCM, a 24/7 veterinary hospital serving Marin County with specialty and emergency services. Working as an extension of the internists, the technician supports patient and client care through communication, diagnostic organization, and procedural assistance. The role also contributes to short- and long-term patient management and collaborative specialty care.

What you'll do

• Communicate diagnostic results and procedures as directed by the internist
• organize and facilitate diagnostics and procedures
• assist with endoscopy, bone marrow sampling, joint taps, and feeding tube placements
• support short- and long-term patient management
• provide empathetic nursing care to patients and owners
• collaborate across departments.
