The Carpenter | Residential & Commercial Construction role is onsite and field-based in Middletown, PA. Compensation is not specified. The carpenter supports residential and commercial construction projects recruited by Heartline Staffing. The role performs hands-on carpentry across new construction, additions, remodeling, and small projects. It contributes to project quality and completion by interpreting plans, preparing and installing materials, coordinating with other trades, and documenting progress and closeout work.

What you'll do

• Perform skilled carpentry on residential and commercial projects
• construct, install, and repair structural woodwork and related materials
• install doors, windows, cabinets, and architectural components
• interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and plans
• measure, cut, and prepare materials
• plan job layouts
• check work against specifications and building standards
• correct workmanship deficiencies
• complete punch-list and closeout items
• assess material needs and assist with material lists
• handle and store materials
• track material usage and waste
• maintain tools and equipment
• coordinate with team members and trades
• document daily progress and completed work
• report challenges and safety concerns
• photograph completed work for project records.
