What you'll do

• Interpret blueprints, layouts, job orders, and related specifications
• determine material requirements and cutting settings
• cut materials to specified lengths
• measure parts and components
• verify raw material receipts and inventory accuracy
• coordinate out-of-stock items with purchasing
• perform housekeeping and maintenance.
