Senior Diesel Mechanic

Compensation is $35–$40 per year. The Senior Diesel Mechanic role is an onsite position based in Van Wyck, SC. 00 - $40.00 per hour, and this role supports the fleet maintenance department at US Foods, Inc. This role exists to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty diesel equipment to ensure a safe and reliable fleet. The mechanic will also mentor other shop personnel and manage preventative maintenance programs.

What you'll do

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
