CAD Technician/Designer — Land Development

What you'll do

• Work with project engineers to prepare site plans
• collect engineering data and create construction documents, schematics, and exhibits
• use design experience to identify potential issues
• help refine design and drafting standards
• apply efficiency engineering to design selection
• work with engineering technicians and engineers
• develop road layouts, site grading, earthwork takeoffs, and erosion and sediment control plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• communicate with clients and other disciplines, consulting firms, INDOT, and local government staff.
