Lighting Project Manager II

Job overview

The Lighting Project Manager II role is hybrid, preferably based in Hayward, CA, with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., three days in the office and two days remote. Compensation is $90,000–$100,000 per year. Alameda Electrical Distributors and California Service Tool distributes electrical supplies, tools, safety products, alternative energy, and automation products. The project manager coordinates lighting projects from concept through completion, serving as a connection point for customers, manufacturers, agencies, and sales teams. The role supports accurate project quoting, product selection, delivery follow-through, and customer relationships.

What you'll do

• Quote commercial, industrial, and residential lighting projects
• interpret fixture schedules, blueprints, and one-lines
• coordinate with manufacturers and lighting agencies
• provide product guidance and project support
• manage sales communications and customer relationships
• assist with product selection
• handle freight claims and delivery tracking
• provide stock information
• analyze transaction reports
• and coordinate purchasing and problem resolution with outside sales.
