Night Auditor — Night Shift, 11 p.m.–7 a.m.

What you'll do

• Welcome guests
• check guests in and out
• issue room keys and provide hotel information
• verify identification
• process guest calls, messages, and requests
• record guest information and preferences
• resolve late or disputed charges
• process cash and credit-card transactions
• communicate outstanding issues to management
• address guest complaints using service-recovery guidelines
• follow safety procedures
• post room and tax
• prepare the front desk for the new day
• compile and organize end-of-day reports.
