Commercial Lending Assistant

The Commercial Lending Assistant role is fully onsite in Plano, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $75,000–$85,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity. The role supports commercial lenders at a community-focused financial institution. The assistant coordinates administrative and loan-processing work throughout the lending lifecycle, helping ensure files and documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant. The position serves as a liaison among borrowers, lenders, title companies, appraisers, and internal departments to support efficient loan processing and closing.

What you'll do

• Support lenders with customer service, account maintenance, loan servicing, and calendar management
• maintain loan files and monitor maturities and past-due items
• resolve documentation exceptions and follow up with customers
• assist with underwriting documents, disclosures, title work, appraisals, flood certifications, and due diligence
• coordinate closings, funding, construction draws, and post-closing documentation
• support compliance reporting and administrative functions.

Why this role
