What you'll do

• Review menus before food preparation
• prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets, employees, and special events
• prepare alternatives for residents’ individual needs and preferences
• follow food-handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
• make only authorized menu changes and record them
• serve food at appropriate temperatures and in an attractive manner
• maintain and file menus
• use standardized recipes.
