What you'll do

• Manage referral email, fax, and web portals
• answer referral calls
• coordinate with departments to complete referrals
• verify insurance coverage and patient out-of-pocket costs
• obtain documentation required by insurance
• coordinate authorization, dispensing, and billing
• record information in internal systems
• arrange nursing services as needed and assist with negotiating nursing rates when subcontracting is required.
