Construction Project Manager – Owner’s Representative

The Construction Project Manager – Owner’s Representative role is hybrid, with two days in the Huntington Beach or Pasadena office and site visits and project meetings as needed. The expected annual salary is $160,000–$175,000. Marx Okubo consults with real estate owners, investors, and lenders throughout the property lifecycle to evaluate projects, solve challenges, and implement tailored solutions. Serving as a client advocate, the project manager oversees large commercial construction projects through their phases, managing budgets, bids, changes, risks, schedules, and reporting to support successful project delivery. Local and regional travel is required, with travel of up to 50% stated.

What you'll do

• Represent clients through all phases of large-scale commercial construction projects
• review documents for constructability, scope, and value engineering
• evaluate contractor bids, pay applications, change orders, and contingency use
• manage budgets and financial reporting
• identify and mitigate risks
• lead OAC meetings
• conduct site visits
• analyze and resolve delay claims
• prepare and present executive-level reports.
