Assistant Toddler Teacher

The Assistant Toddler Teacher role is onsite in Champaign, IL, and pays $16–$17 per hour. The full-time position supports classroom care and learning for two-year-old children at Little Legends Learning Center. The assistant supports the lead teacher with age-appropriate curriculum, prepares lesson materials, helps children follow classroom routines and complete daily activities, prepares meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions, cleans and sanitizes the room, keeps daily records, and communicates with parents.

What you'll do

• Support the lead teacher in the classroom
• help prepare age-appropriate curriculum and materials
• keep children engaged and on schedule
• assist with handwashing, dressing, potty training, and diaper changes
• prepare snacks and lunches according to dietary restrictions
• clean and sanitize
• maintain daily records and communicate with parents.
