Lead Caregiver

The Lead Caregiver works onsite in Cannon Falls, MN, for $20–$24 per hour. The role supports Cannon Rivers Senior Living, part of Vista Senior Living Management, which operates assisted living, memory care, and independent living communities. The lead caregiver assists residents with activities of daily living and promotes independence, comfort, dignity, and safety. The role also supports shift coordination by checking task completion, mentoring team members, and communicating resident needs and changes to the interdisciplinary team and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care
• support resident activities and independence
• monitor and record health and behavior
• communicate changes and concerns
• answer call lights
• support admissions and transfers
• train and mentor new team members
• review completion of caregiving duties
• conduct bed checks at least every two hours or as indicated by care plans
• pass and record medications if assigned and certified.

Why this role

AM shift is 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; PM shift is 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of RA experience, and 2–3 years of caregiver experience. CBRF certification is required when performing duties in a CBRF.
