The Mechatronics Technician III role is hybrid and based at Autonomous Solutions’ headquarters in Mendon, UT. Compensation is $75,440–$100,000 per year. The role supports the Logistics team’s yard truck program, including autonomous vehicle deployment and commissioning; planned and short-notice travel within the continental United States may be required up to 60%. The technician prepares and commissions autonomous vehicles, diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems, and resolves field issues. The role contributes to customer deployments and product reliability while providing technical guidance to junior technicians and collaborating with Engineering.

What you'll do

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical diagnostics and repairs on autonomous vehicles
• operate and evaluate robotic systems
• manage field assignments from dispatch through resolution, including customer communication and documentation
• analyze recurring failures with Engineering
• maintain service records and parts documentation
• guide Technician I and II personnel
• evaluate field tools and procedures and report findings.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience; 4–7 years of hands-on troubleshooting experience; a valid driver’s license; and ability to pass a DOT medical evaluation. Travel may be up to 60% as required.
