Prototype Technician, Day Shift, Ditch Witch

The Prototype Technician works onsite in Perry, OK, on the day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as necessary. Typical starting pay is $23.10–$35.00 per hour. The role supports Ditch Witch product development by working with design engineers on prototype weldments. The technician lays out and welds prototype components, evaluates design and manufacturing issues, and provides feedback to improve product design, manufacturability, and functionality. What you'll do

• Read design prints and model files
• identify and document issues
• communicate foreseeable welding, manufacturing, or functionality concerns to Design
• review models before weldment release
• determine welding processes and sequences
• lay out and complete prototype weldments
• and assist with repairs and troubleshooting of failed prototypes.
