The Intellectual Property Trademark Paralegal role is available in Phoenix, AZ; Kansas City, MO; or Chicago, IL. Compensation is $115,000–$135,000 per year. The paralegal supports an AmLaw 50 firm’s Trademark, Copyright and Branding Practice Group, managing domestic and international intellectual property portfolios. The role supports trademark and copyright matters by coordinating filings, prosecution, renewals, docketing, and deadlines. Accurate portfolio management and assistance with special projects help attorneys and clients protect and maintain intellectual property rights.

What you'll do

• Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios
• prepare and file trademark applications with the USPTO and WIPO
• handle prosecution, renewals, assignments, ownership transfers, and maintenance
• prepare and file TTAB proceedings and state trademark applications
• coordinate international filings and enforcement matters with foreign counsel
• prepare copyright applications and ownership transfers
• manage domain registrations
• monitor watch notices and prepare client reports
• maintain IP dockets, deadlines, portals, and document systems
• assist with due diligence, UDRP actions, demand letters, customs recordation, and other projects.
