Staff Accountant

The role supports accurate accounting and reporting through accounts payable processing, transaction review, general ledger work, reconciliations, and close activities. It also contributes to SEC and SBA reporting, audit support, management reporting, and financial analysis.

What you'll do

• Process and code accounts payable invoices
• review and reconcile client transactions and upload activity to the accounting system
• perform general ledger reconciliations, variance analysis, and quarterly expense accruals
• maintain amortization schedules and related balance sheet reconciliations
• track receivables, work-in-process, and deposits for portfolio companies
• update interest schedules and prepare weekly balance sheet recaps
• assist with monthly and quarterly close and process improvements
• support SEC and SBA reporting, audits, Form 1099 preparation, management reports, financial analysis, investor and analyst materials, and special projects.
