Truck Body Assembler

Job overview

The Truck Body Assembler role is onsite in Fort Lupton, CO, with compensation of $20–$22 per hour. Summit Bodyworks builds customized tool trucks, mobile libraries, moving trucks, and other specialty vehicles. The assembler constructs truck-body components and completed bodies from blueprints, then mounts finished bodies onto vehicle systems. The role contributes to customized vehicle production by following specifications and performing safety and quality checks.

What you'll do

• Read blueprints and work orders
• cut wood or metal to specified sizes
• assemble box components and finished boxes
• seal boxes and install doors
• mount finished boxes onto vehicle systems
• fasten parts using tools and hardware
• inspect finished work for defects
• perform safety and quality checks.
