Job overview

The Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role is part-time and provides in-home and community-based services in Braintree, MA. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour, based on experience. South Shore Autism Center supports children with developmental disabilities through individualized programming. The technician delivers Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism or Down syndrome, implementing treatment plans under BCBA supervision. The role supports children’s growth and independence through direct sessions, data collection, progress documentation, and communication with families and the clinical team.

What you'll do

  • Provide direct services to children in home and community settings
  • implement ABA instructional programming and BCBA behavior and teaching plans
  • remain engaged during sessions
  • report clinical or family concerns to the supervising BCBA
  • collect data and complete session notes
  • provide reliable service according to client schedules
  • communicate with families and team members
  • participate in Safety Care training, meetings, and professional development
  • protect client and family confidentiality.
