Fiber Installation Technician

The Fiber Installation Technician role is field-based and onsite, with daily reporting to the office and travel into Centric communities in Buda, TX. Compensation is not specified. The technician installs and maintains fiber and residential communications services, troubleshoots customer issues, and coordinates with contractors and technical teams. What you'll do

• Perform fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting
• conduct residential internet, phone, TV, and cable installations
• assist customers with service and equipment information
• resolve onsite service issues
• install and service telephone, modem, and television equipment
• maintain fiber distribution hubs and cabinets
• coordinate with contractors and technical service teams
• support equipment and software rollouts
• and provide after-hours and weekend on-call support.
