The Facilities & Maintenance Specialist role is onsite in Rochester, NY. Pay is $20.15–$25.15 per hour. East House is a nonprofit supporting people in recovery through residential support, counseling, peer support, and community outreach. The specialist maintains the safety, functionality, and upkeep of buildings, housing units, equipment, and fleet vehicles. The role coordinates repairs and inspections, responds to work orders, and helps ensure clean, safe living and working environments for staff and clients.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance and repairs
• inspect building systems and fire safety equipment
• respond to and document work orders
• troubleshoot issues and update management
• maintain standard inventory
• assist with equipment purchases and installation
• inspect housing and coordinate apartment turnovers
• perform facility upkeep and coordinate vendors
• assist with vehicle maintenance coordination and asset inventory
• participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency repairs.

Why this role
