Job overview

The Buyer role is onsite in Minong, WI, with compensation of $60,000–$75,000 per year. The position supports Jack Link’s production of meat snacks by purchasing and coordinating materials used from raw production through finished products. The Buyer ensures supplies, equipment, and services arrive in time to meet production schedules while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. The role coordinates with suppliers, logistics, accounting, and plant teams to manage orders, deliveries, pricing, invoices, and material quality.

What you'll do

• Research prices, availability, quality, and warranties
• place and manage purchase orders
• ensure production, maintenance, and packaging materials arrive on schedule
• maintain inventory levels
• enter requirements in SAP
• coordinate deliveries with vendors and logistics
• negotiate component pricing
• review purchasing and receiving records and invoices
• resolve discrepancies and supplier quality issues
• set up new vendors.
